Behind the Scenes: Preparing Paraiso for High Season

As Miami moves toward its busiest season of the year, there is plenty happening behind the scenes at Paraiso. Throughout the past month, the Paraiso Master team has been working across the property on a series of maintenance, beautification, security, and technology projects designed to preserve our surroundings and ensure our shared spaces are ready for the months ahead.
In a waterfront community, maintaining exterior spaces is an ongoing responsibility. Miami’s combination of intense sunlight, humidity, rain, and salt air means that surfaces require regular attention. This month, the team pressure-washed and repainted the fifth-floor exterior walls at both Gran Paraiso and Paraiso Bay, while the P7 exterior wall also received a fresh coat of paint. The exterior of the Children’s Wading Pool restroom was repainted as well, refreshing another frequently used area of the property.
Attention also turned to the pool, where the caulking project was completed. While preventative projects like this may be less noticeable than a fresh coat of paint, they play an important role in protecting the property, addressing wear before it becomes a larger issue, and extending the life of our finishes and infrastructure.
Several everyday areas also received important repairs. The glass door at the fifth-floor Juice Bar was repaired and is once again closing properly, while repairs to the Dog Park fence help maintain a safe and welcoming space for our four-legged residents.
Technology That Works Behind the Scenes
Preparing the property also means investing in the technology that supports our residents and operations. A new security camera was installed at the Paraiso Bay garage entrance, improving our ability to monitor the area and helping maintain the security and integrity of the garage gate.
Inside our amenities, the Golf Simulator received a significant technology upgrade, with its computer storage expanded from 250 GB to 1 TB—four times its previous capacity. The additional storage will help the system operate more efficiently, improve course and map loading, and allow all available courses to remain downloaded simultaneously. Previously, courses frequently had to be deleted simply to make room for new downloads. It is a behind-the-scenes improvement that should translate into a smoother experience for residents using the simulator.
Taken individually, many of these projects may seem small. Together, they illustrate what it takes to care for a community of Paraiso’s scale. From a freshly painted wall and a properly closing door to enhanced garage monitoring and better-performing amenity technology, each improvement contributes to the experience of living here.
With high season approaching, the goal is not simply to respond when something needs attention. It is to anticipate what comes next, continually invest in our shared spaces, and ensure Paraiso remains as beautiful, functional, secure, and welcoming as the community we are proud to call home.
