Paraiso District Unites for Venezuela: Together, We Can Make a Difference

In times of crisis, the true strength of a community is measured by its willingness to come together and help those in need. Following the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24, the entire Paraiso District has united to support relief efforts for the thousands of families whose lives have been forever changed.

The earthquakes caused widespread destruction across several regions of the country, damaging homes, hospitals, schools, roads, and essential infrastructure. Thousands of people remain displaced, while many communities continue to face limited access to food, clean water, medical supplies, electricity, and basic necessities. Recovery efforts are ongoing, but humanitarian organizations continue to report an urgent need for assistance as aftershocks and damaged infrastructure make recovery even more challenging.

In response, Paraiso Bay, Gran Paraiso, Paraiso Bayviews, the Paraiso Bay Master Association, Amara at Paraiso, and Paraiso.Miami have joined forces to organize a district-wide donation drive in support of the people of Venezuela.

All donations collected will be delivered directly to Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), one of the nation’s leading disaster relief organizations with extensive experience responding to natural disasters throughout the world. Through their established logistics network and on-the-ground partners, GEM ensures that donated supplies reach families and communities where they are needed most.

Residents are encouraged to donate essential items including:

• Non-perishable food and baby formula

• Bottled water

• First aid supplies and over-the-counter medications

• Personal hygiene products

• Diapers, wipes, and paper products

• New or gently used clothing

• Blankets and shoes

• Flashlights and AA/AAA batteries

Paraiso.Miami (Commercial Unit CU-7)501 NE 31st Street, Unit CU-7Miami, FL 33137 This commercial space, located beneath Paraiso Bayviews, has generously become the central collection point for the entire Paraiso District, making it easy for residents from all four communities to participate.

This initiative represents far more than a donation drive. It reflects the values that define the Paraiso community: compassion, generosity, and neighbors helping neighbors, even across international borders. Whether it’s a case of bottled water, a package of diapers, a first aid kit, or warm clothing, every contribution helps provide hope and comfort to families facing unimaginable hardship.
